“Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore”

It is evident to all of us that the global pandemic has resulted in drastic changes in the world in different dimensions and this change has created a greater uncertainty about the future. Uncertainty is a risk, but it is also very exciting, isn’t it?

After being in the audit & assurance sector for more than 18 years, I have asked myself “what is the best path to navigate through these changes and also make it more exciting and worthwhile?”. Being a Partner of a globally reputed professional service firm, it was not that easy to find an answer to this. Should I move forward with what I am doing in my comfort zone, or should I look for an exciting & risk-taking move to bring the best out of me for the betterment of our community and the profession?

Yes, I knew there is so much out there to best utilize what I have with me than settling in a comfort zone. And then, I started looking for my path. While I was looking around the world, I found “Crevaty”.

Crevaty is an upcoming professional service provider and I realized that they are in the journey of discovering new oceans.  I realized that they strongly believe in partnering with best talents and they are prepared to create space to bring the best out of the members of Crevaty. Also, I have seen the energetic and passionate leadership in Crevaty. More importantly, I understood that they do not prioritize individuals, but creating value to the society, i.e. Crevaty.

It was a very interesting and exciting moment as I was warmly invited to lead Crevaty Academy. I know that I am so passionate about Training and Development, and I can bring the best out of me with this move.  When that opportunity lies, what else?

Nelson Mandela once said, “There is no passion to be found in playing small in settling for a life that is less than you are capable of living”.

The world is evolving and multiple waves are coming up with more uncertainty about the future.  Economic instability, technological development, regulatory pressure, climate change & demand for go-green are on top of what we deal with. At the same time, the great resignation has made it more complicated and that alarms the urgent need of upgrading people’s skills and competencies.

Rather than staying relevant, preparing, and adapting to the unseen is the key priority which indeed requires a significant transformation. Training of people is very vital to make such transformation effective.

Crevaty Academy will work on that bigger purpose of transforming society without being restricted to offering training programs only on technical subjects. Crevaty Academy will function as the ultimate training platform to enhance the practical know how of the people to prepare and adapt for the multiple waves to come. At this important milestone, I would like to express my humble gratitude and appreciation to all of you for being with me thus far and believing that I have added value to the people and society at large to make a positive change. I will continue to fulfill my desire of adding value to the people and society as Crevaty does too.
