Crevaty Consultancy UAE, the UAE’s fastest-growing Business Process Outsourcing services provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sameera Hewapathirana as Manager, BPO Operation, effective October 26, 2021.

Sameera is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and the finalist of the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (AATSL).

Sameera joins us from Crevaty Business Process Management Systems (Pvt) Ltd. in Sri Lanka, where he served as Manager – BPO Operations. He spent more than 6 years in the commercial sector and 4 years in the audit and assurance sector in various finance roles before joining Crevaty Group. He began his career as an audit trainee at Baker Tilly Edirisinghe & Co. and quickly rose to the position of manager. Following that, he transitioned to the commercial sector, where he worked as an Accountant in a Real Estate Management Company before moving on to the hospitality industry. He was able to join Sri Lanka’s leading restaurant group, where he was able to achieve many career goals, due to his excellent performance and experience. During this time, he was overseeing the finance and administration functions of the group companies, as well as overseas operations in China, India, Thailand, the Maldives, and the Philippines.

He brings to Crevaty a wealth of experience in Internal and External Audits, Compliance, Taxation, Financial Management, and International Trading.

He is a forward-thinking leader with innovative ideas. He always ensures efficiency, dependability, honesty, and numerical accuracy in his work.
